1. About Us & Acceptance

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Haus Jewellers website (hausjewellers.com) and all purchases made through it. By using our site or placing an order, you accept these terms in full.

These terms apply to consumers (individuals purchasing for personal use) and are subject to UK law. If you are purchasing on behalf of a business, separate commercial terms may apply — please contact us.

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. The version in force at the time you place your order will apply to that transaction.

2. Products & Descriptions

We take great care to present our products accurately. However:

• Photographs are representative; slight colour variations may occur depending on your screen settings
• Product descriptions are provided in good faith based on our assessment; for pre-owned watches and jewellery, condition notes reflect our professional opinion at the time of listing
• Where a product is described as "pre-owned", it is not new and may show signs of wear consistent with its age and history, as described in the product listing
• Bullion weights, purities, and measurements are as accurate as reasonably practicable

If you believe a product was materially mis-described, please contact us immediately. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality, and fit for purpose.

3. Ordering & Contract Formation

Placing an order on our website does not constitute a binding contract. A contract is formed only when we send you an order confirmation email confirming despatch of your order.

We reserve the right to:

• Decline or cancel any order at our discretion, for example if a pricing error has occurred, a product is no longer available, or we are unable to verify payment
• Request additional verification (such as ID or proof of address) before processing high-value orders, in compliance with our anti-money laundering obligations

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order. By placing an order, you confirm that you are 18 or over.

All orders are subject to availability. In the rare event that an item becomes unavailable after you have ordered, we will contact you promptly and offer a full refund.

4. Pricing & Payment

All prices displayed on our website are in Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable.

• Bullion prices are calculated dynamically using live market spot rates and may change between the time of browsing and the time of checkout
• We reserve the right to cancel a bullion order and offer a full refund if the spot price moves materially between order and fulfilment
• Delivery charges are displayed at checkout and are additional to product prices unless otherwise stated
• We accept payment by major credit and debit card. All payments are processed securely via Cardstream using 3D Secure authentication
• We do not accept cash, cheques, or cryptocurrency
• Payment is taken at the point of order

If a pricing error is discovered after you have placed an order, we will contact you to offer the option of purchasing at the correct price or receiving a full refund.

5. Delivery

• All orders are despatched via fully insured, tracked, and signed-for services
• Estimated delivery timeframes are provided at checkout and in your order confirmation
• Risk passes to you on delivery; title passes on full payment being received
• Delivery to mainland UK is our standard service; for offshore, international, or high-value deliveries, please contact us before ordering

Time of delivery is not of the essence unless expressly agreed in writing. However, if delivery is significantly delayed through our fault, you may be entitled to a refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

6. Cancellation & Returns

• Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have a 14-day right to cancel most orders from the day after you receive your goods
• You have a further 14 days to return the item after notifying us of cancellation
• Items must be returned in the same condition as received, with all original packaging and documentation
• Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (regarding faulty or mis-described goods) are not affected by our returns policy
• Bespoke, personalised, or special-order items may not be eligible for cancellation under regulation 28(1)(b) of the Consumer Contracts Regulations

7. Warranties & Defects

All products sold by Haus Jewellers must be of satisfactory quality, as described, and fit for purpose under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

• New goods: you have a 30-day right to reject, and up to 6 months for a repair or replacement, with a full refund if the fault cannot be resolved
• Pre-owned goods: your statutory rights apply; however, condition is as described in the product listing, and pre-owned items are not covered by manufacturer warranties unless explicitly stated
• Manufacturer warranties: where a product carries a manufacturer warranty, we will assist you in making a claim, but the warranty is between you and the manufacturer

8. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Subject to the above:

• Our total liability to you in connection with any order shall not exceed the price paid for the relevant product(s)
• We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special losses, including loss of profit or loss of opportunity
• We are not responsible for any delay or failure to perform our obligations caused by events outside our reasonable control (force majeure)

As a consumer, you have statutory rights that cannot be excluded or limited. These terms do not affect those rights.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, photography, logos, graphics, and code — is the property of Haus Jewellers or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any content from this site without our express written permission. You may view and print content for personal, non-commercial use only.

10. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of our website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer and habitually resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of those jurisdictions.
